This is a standard transplant with an added step. Before the grafts go in, a small sample of your own tissue and blood is processed to concentrate growth factors and regenerative cells, and the grafts are treated with it.
The aim is graft survival. Every follicle spends a period outside the body between extraction and implantation, and that window is where grafts are lost. Enriching them is intended to shorten recovery for the follicle and support the surrounding tissue as it heals.
A small blood draw and tissue sample are taken and processed on site while the extraction begins.
Follicular units are harvested exactly as in a standard FUE procedure.
The grafts are held in the prepared concentrate rather than plain saline during the waiting period.
Grafts are placed as normal, and the remaining concentrate is applied to the recipient and donor areas.

PRP is one component. This procedure combines platelet-rich plasma with cells from a small tissue sample, and applies it to the grafts themselves rather than only to the scalp.
It does not change the area that needs covering. What it aims to change is how many of the grafts you place survive and how quickly they recover.
It is most valuable when the donor area is limited or when previous results were poor. For a straightforward case with a strong donor zone, a standard transplant may be all that is needed — we will tell you honestly which applies to you.
The transplanted follicles are permanent, as in any transplant. The enrichment step supports healing and survival; it does not stop hair loss elsewhere on the scalp.
